Nigerian football star Asisat Oshoala delivered another outstanding performance on Thursday, scoring a hat-trick as Al Hilal Women defeated Al Qadsiah Women 5-1 to book a place in the final of the Saudi Women’s Cup.
The emphatic victory secured a 7-2 aggregate triumph for Al Hilal, with Oshoala once again proving decisive in attack.
The six-time African Women’s Player of the Year opened the scoring in the 36th minute with a stunning right-footed strike from outside the penalty area after receiving a pass from Kheira Hamraoui.
Just two minutes later, Jéssica Silva doubled Al Hilal’s advantage following a swift counter-attack initiated by Al Bandari Mobarak.
Al Qadsiah briefly responded through Ajara Nchout in the 42nd minute, but Oshoala restored Al Hilal’s comfortable lead moments later with another composed finish before half-time.
The Nigerian striker completed her hat-trick in the 73rd minute, calmly slotting home after another assist from Al Bandari Mobarak. Oshoala later won a penalty in the closing stages, which Ghizlane Chebbak converted in stoppage time to seal the dominant victory.
Oshoala has now recorded 23 goals and six assists across all competitions this season, underlining her remarkable impact since joining the Saudi club from Bay FC in the summer of 2025 on a two-year contract.
The forward has also scored in four consecutive matches and registered at least one goal contribution in each of her last six games, continuing the impressive form that made her one of Africa’s most decorated female footballers.
Al Hilal Women will now face either Al Ula Women or Al Nassr Women in the final as they chase silverware this season.
The club had previously finished runners-up in the Saudi Women’s Premier Challenge Cup, a tournament in which Oshoala also scored back-to-back hat-tricks during their run to the final.
