Super Eagle Ex-Player, Segun Odegbami, has commended the Managing Director of Peculiar Ultimate Concern Ltd, Engr. Lanre Adeleke, for quality pitch delivery at Warri City Stadium, located in Odion, Warri, Delta State.
Odegbami described PUCL as the saving grace for Nigeria, vowing to be the biggest ambassador of the newly remodelled football facility, most especially the pitch with international quality.
He made the disclosure today during a media tour of Warri City Stadium in Warri, Delta State.
He expressed concern over many talents wasted because of poor pitch and expressed hope in the future of Nigeria football with the dedication of Peculiar Ultimate Concerns Ltd to construction of international standard rate md stadia acrosss many states in Nigeria. Odegbami pledged to promote and be the biggest ambassador of Warri stadium.
“The ground (pitch) is one of the biggest problems of Nigeria football. With what I see here done by Peculiar Ultimate Concerns Ltd under the management of Engr. Lanre Adeleke, the biggest problem of football in Nigeria is solved. Peculiar has rectified it. We are getting it right through this Stadia construction firm.”

In his remarks, Engr. Adeleke said the two problems associated with Warri stadium, flooding, and turfing are solved permanently. He stressed that the flood is peculiar to Warri stadium while turfing has been a general challenge in pitch construction in Nigeria.
Presence at the facility tour also includes : the ‘Headmaster’ Mutiu Adepoju, MON; Mainasara Ilo (former NTA, Sports administrator and consultant) and some football lovers.
