It also highlighted concerns over visa fraud and misuse of travel documents, urging applicants to respect the conditions of their visas throughout their stay in the United States.
The mission encouraged the public to help protect the integrity of the visa system by adhering to lawful travel practices.
Individuals with credible information about visa fraud were advised to report through official consular fraud prevention channels.
The mission reaffirmed its commitment to supporting safe, legal, and orderly travel between Nigeria and the United States, while ensuring that law-abiding travellers are not disadvantaged by the actions of others.
