Tinubu’s first stop is France, after which he will travel to Nairobi to attend the Africa–France Summit scheduled for May 11 to May 12. The summit will be co-chaired by Emmanuel Macron and William Ruto, and will focus on issues such as energy transition, climate action, digital transformation, and economic cooperation.
During the summit, the president is expected to engage with global leaders and investors as part of efforts to strengthen Nigeria’s international economic ties.
Following the Kenya visit, Tinubu will proceed to Kigali, Rwanda, to participate in the Africa CEO Forum from May 14 to May 15.
The forum will bring together top business leaders and policymakers to explore investment opportunities and strategies for boosting economic growth across Africa.
The presidency stated that the trip reflects Nigeria’s commitment to leveraging high-level international engagements to promote economic development and expand global partnerships.
