Nigeria Govt Patners House Of Destiny, NATOMORAS, Unveils Electric Tricycle Empowerment Initiative to Boost Youth Employment, Green Mobility

In a major move toward sustainable development and youth empowerment, the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, in collaboration with House of Destiny and NATOMORAS, is set to launch the National Electric Tricycle Empowerment Initiative. An innovative program designed to transform the transportation sector and create new economic opportunities for Nigerian youth.

The innovative program which is scheduled for 26th November 2025 at Eagle Square, Abuja, the national launch will begin at 11:00 AM, bringing together policymakers, youth leaders, development partners, and the general public to witness a landmark stride toward clean-energy mobility.

The initiative aims to provide young Nigerians, particularly those in the informal transportation sector with access to eco-friendly electric tricycles, thereby reducing carbon emissions, enhancing job creation, and fostering sustainable transportation across the country.

According to the Founder of the House Of Destiny, Dr. Olajumoke Israel, he said the project represents a strategic step toward addressing youth unemployment while accelerating Nigeria’s transition to green mobility solutions.

House of Destiny, one of the key key partners of the project, a faith-based non-profit organization known for empowering women, strengthening families, and providing hope through spiritual support, community outreach, and online broadcasts. Guided by Christian values, the organization offers a safe space for individuals seeking healing, stability, and a renewed sense of purpose. Its role in this initiative underscores its commitment to building brighter futures for young people nationwide.
