He made the statement during an interview, noting that despite recent military actions and a fragile ceasefire, Iran still possesses some missile and drone capabilities. “They still have capacity. They have some missiles, they have some drones. I would say, percentage-wise, maybe 21 to 22 percent of their missiles,” Trump said. This estimate is higher than the 18 percent figure he mentioned in May. Trump has previously stated that Iran’s military capabilities had been severely weakened. Meanwhile, Iran’s military announced that it had fired “warning missiles” toward two U.S. destroyers in the Gulf of Oman. However, the U.S. military denied the claim.
