in a keynote address he delivered at the 3rd edition of the Kaduna
Investment Economic Summit (KADInvest 3.0) held at the late Umaru Musa
Yar’Adua Sports Complex in Kaduna on Wednesday.

The summit, which was organised by the Kaduna State Investment Promotion Agency, has Partnership for Development as its theme.
The former President noted that investment remained the surest path to the socio-economic development of the continent.
He added that investment was the only
way the continent could leap into development, citing countries Republic
of China, Japan and the United States of America as example of
countries that were thriving because they created investment
opportunities.

land into farms producing agricultural crops and a ranch producing meat
and descent meals, it takes investments to build factories, residential
houses , office blocks, shopping mall to generate incomes for those who
have invested.”

build schools, hospitals, roads, airports, railways, water and power
supply systems to improve people’s living standard.

more will not be possible. A conducive investment environment is a very
critical factor , if you have a lot to offer but if the investment
