Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has expressed his willingness to face fellow artiste Terry G in a celebrity boxing match, claiming the bout would help revive Terry G’s public profile.
Portable made the statement during an interview on Rubbin’ Minds on Channels Television while discussing his boxing career and future plans in the sport.
When asked who he would like to fight next, the “Zazuu” crooner said he wanted a one-on-one boxing contest with Terry G.
According to him, such a fight would attract public attention and remind people of Terry G.
The singer also expressed his desire for a rematch with comedian and skit maker Carter Efe, who handed him the first defeat of his celebrity boxing career in May 2026.
Portable confidently declared that he would defeat Carter Efe if they met again in the ring.
He further disclosed that he plans to return to London after completing another boxing contest with actor Charles Okocha.
Speaking on celebrity boxing in Nigeria, Portable claimed that his involvement had significantly contributed to the sport’s growing popularity.
He also dismissed reports suggesting that he had fallen out with rapper Olamide, insisting that the YBNL boss remains an important figure in his life and career.
Portable described Olamide as someone who has greatly supported his rise in the music industry.
The singer also made a bold claim that no Nigerian artiste would win a Grammy Award without collaborating with him.
Portable has established himself as one of Nigeria’s best-known celebrity boxers since making his debut in December 2023.
He defeated actor Charles Okocha in his first exhibition fight before recording a technical knockout victory over rapper Speed Darlington in April 2025 after his opponent suffered a shoulder injury.
His unbeaten run came to an end in May 2026 when Carter Efe defeated him by unanimous decision at the Chaos in the Ring 4 boxing event in Lagos.
