training for civil servants in Ikeja, pointed out that obtaining the
PVCs would give them the power to elect people they want to lead them.

and friends on the need to obtain their PVCs to be part of the next year
general elections,” he added.
Ambode, who was represented by the
Commissioner for Establishments, Training and Pensions, Dr. Benson Oke,
said his administration had been engaging in infrastructure development
in order to make life better for the people.

The governor stated that to succeed,
public-sector organisations must find a way to align their growth
strategy—providing new and better services at limited cost—with regards
for the interests of their workers.
