Governors Ademola Adeleke (Osun), Agbu Kefas (Taraba), and Siminalayi Fubara (Rivers) are conspicuously absent at the ongoing convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.
The party, which has been mired in crisis, had vowed to carry on with the exercise despite two court judgements against it.
It was reported that the Umar Damagum-faction of the party went ahead with the convention relying on a judgement secured at an Oyo State High Court.
As the exercise kicked off, Daily Trust sighted Governors Ahmadu Fintri (Adamawa), Caleb Muftwang (Plateau), Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Dauda Lawal (Zamfara), and the host, Seyi Makinde(Oyo).
In attendance are ex-Senate President Adolphus Wabara; Former Governors Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom), Babangida Aliyu (Niger) and Ibrahim Shekarau (Kano) were also at the event.
