Segun Akanni, Toronto, Canada The Senate on Tuesday began investigation into the alleged certificate scandal against Senator Dino Melaye.An online media had on Monday reported that Melaye did not graduate from Ahamadu Bello University, Zaria, which he presented for his election.
The Senate’s decision was sequel to a Point of Orer raised by Senator Ali Ndume.
Ndume came under Order 14/15 to present the issue to the Senate.
The Deputy Senate, Ike Ekweremadu, who presided over the plenary, directed Melaye to present the document in contention to the Senate.
