OSUN ASSET MANAGEMENT AGENCY CALLS FOR CO-OPERATION FROM GOVERNMENT MDA’s.

  Osun State Asset Management Agency, has called for cooperation from all MDA’s in the State for a successful verification exercise of all government assets which embarked upon by the Agency in the State.

 The Acting Executive Secretary of the Agency, Town Planner Olaniyi Olanipekun, made this appeal at the beginning of the verification and inventory taking exercise of government assets in order to know their conditions as well as financial worth.

           The Act Executive Secretary stated further that the exercise is in line with Governor Aregbesola’s directive that all serviceable and unserviceable government assets in the State be
verified and recorded.

           He explained further that the exercise is not for witch-hunting or fault finding but one that is meant for
accountability and record purpose for future use.

          Records from the verification exercise, when completed, will
be used for the creation of a standard and acceptable asset facility register in the State.

          The exercise, which kicked-off today, took the verification team to the Commissioner’s Quarter, Omiyale Estate, The Garden Estate in GRA, GRA 1& 2, The Governor’s Lodge as well as Government House Annex all in Osogbo.

           Further verification exercise will take place soonest, he added.
