The Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission has reopened an investigation into the controversial doctorate of the acting Director-General of the Federal Institute of Industrial Research, Oshodi, Dr Chima Igwe.
The ICPC spokesperson, Rasheedat Okoduwa, stated this on Tuesday during a telephone interview with our correspondent.
This followed an investigation by our correspondent that 57-year-old Igwe might have been fraudulently promoted without a doctorate he claimed he obtained from Abomey Calavi University in Benin Republic 18 years ago.
