Toronto and the GTA are under a winter weather travel advisory ahead of a system expected to bring between 5 to 10 cm of snow to the region.
Environment Canada says the fast-moving low-pressure system is expected to arrive in the region Saturday afternoon, creating hazardous driving conditions for drivers in some areas.
For Toronto, flurries are forecasted to begin between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. before transitioning to light snow by the evening. The snowfall will be heaviest around 9 p.m. before tapering off early Sunday morning.
Mississauga, Brampton, Burlington and Oakville could see up to 10 cm of snow by early Sunday.
