After a dreary and cold winter — not to mention a less-than-ideal month of April — the City of Toronto reached the 20 C mark for the first time this year, continuing a weekly trend of beautiful, spring-like weather.
CityNews meteorologist Natasha Ramsahai says Toronto Pearson airport officially recorded 20 C as of 2 p.m.

Most of southern Ontario will have a taste of early summer weather late in the week as the good times will keep rolling, with added sunshine expected on Wednesday and a daily high of 22 C.
Thursday is shaping up to be slightly warmer, with sunshine and an expected daily high of 23 C.
Though more cloud coverage is likely on Friday, daily high temperatures should reach 25 C in Toronto. Saturday will be mostly sunny with a low risk for a shower or thunderstorm late.
