The Online Media Incorporation in collaboration with its sister organization – Global Forum for Human Rights and Sustainable Development, aligns with millions of well wishers, activists, governments and civil society outfits across the world to celebrate the Black History Month – which holds in February of every year.
Black History Month is an annual global event designated to recognize and honour illustrious sons and daughters of African descent who had and have, overtime, distinguished themselves in their field of endeavours and have contributed remarkably towards the growth, progress and development of their societies and have also positively projected the image and dignity of the black person.
Our organization supports this month’s theme ‘African Americans and the Arts’ because it speaks volume on the importance and relevance of artistic culture and it symbolizes the unprecedented role and contributions of black peoples towards the promotion of culture and arts in the 21st century.
We can boldly assert that the future of the global ship belongs to African Americans and other black people to steer and drive to Sustainable greatness.
