The Super Falcons will step up their preparations for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup with another friendly against Japan next month.
The friendly will take place at the Noevir Stadium, Kobe on Thursday, October 6.
It will be the third meeting between both countries.
The Nadeshiko pipped the Super Falcons 1-0 in the first meeting between both teams in 2004 at the Karaiskakis Stadium in Piraeus.
Two back-to-back friendlies in 2013 were won 2-0 each by the Asians.
The Super Falcons fell to a 2-1 defeat against world champions, the United States of America on Wednesday morning.
It was a remarkable improvement from the 4-0 defeat to the same opponent last Saturday.
The former African champions are one of the 32 teams that will take part in the biggest-ever FIFA Women’s World Cup finals set for nine cities in Australia and New Zealand from July 20 to August 20, 2023.
