Nigeria’s national football team, the Super Eagles, are set for high-profile international friendlies against Poland national football team and Portugal national football team during the FIFA window in June.
Following recent performances in Antalya, Turkey — where Nigeria defeated Iran national football team and played a 2-2 draw with Jordan national football team — the team is preparing for another competitive set of fixtures.
According to the Nigeria Football Federation’s FIFA Match Agent, Jairo Pachón, the Super Eagles will face Poland on June 3 at the PGE Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw.
The second friendly will be against Portugal on June 10, although the venue for that match has yet to be announced. The game will serve as Portugal’s final preparation before traveling for the FIFA World Cup scheduled to be hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
In addition, Nigeria is expected to defend its title at the Unity Cup Tournament, which will take place in London from May 26 to May 30.
