The House of Representatives yesterday urged Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety to instruct his personnel to desist from chasing erring motorists on highways.
This followed the adoption of a motion by Oluyemi Adewale Taiwo who cited a hot chase of an 18-seater commuter bus by FRSC personnel along the Ogbomosho-Ilorin Road on February 8, 2020 that led to loss of lives and destruction of property.
The house mandated its Committee on Federal Road Safety Commission to investigate the recent incident along Ogbomosho-Ilorin Road and report back in four weeks’ time.
