President Buhari to return to Nigeria for Sallah festival as doctors reportedly want him to stay for 4 more weeks
President Muhammadu Buhari’s return to Nigeria is being scheduled to take place during the Muslim Sallah Festival according to Sahara Reporters.
The president has been out of the country for more than 100 days for medical treatment in London and according to the online medium, a cabal is plotting planning to make the president return to the country in two weeks for the Eif-il-Kabir.
It was also reported that the first lady, Aisha Buhari has cancelled her plans for Hajj in order to be around when the president returns to the country.
This is allegedly against the recommendation of the doctors treating the president as they reportedly want him to remain for four more weeks.
Meanwhile, President Buhari sent his greetings to Nigerians informing them that he would soon be home from London.
The president however said his return to Nigeria is dependent on his doctors in London.
In a statement by his Femi Adesina, Buhari confirmed that his health had tremendously improved and wished to return to Nigeria.
“I have learnt to obey my doctor’s orders rather than be the one issuing the orders. Here, the doctor is absolutely in charge.”
The president said this when he received a delegation from his government led by Lai Mohammed, the information and culture minister. The others on the delegation include Femi Adesina, Garba Shehu, Lauretta Onochie and Abike Dabiri.
