Nigeria’s leading dairy brands, Peak and Three Crowns bagged multiple awards at the Marketing Edge Brands and Advertising Excellence Awards 2019, including the ‘Dairy Leadership Brand of the Year’ award and ‘Outstanding Dairy Brand of the Year’ award respectively.
According to the organisers, the awards acknowledge and celebrate exemplary leadership across the dairy manufacturing sector and honour their great contributions in the Nigerian brand ecosystem. Since its inception seven years ago, the award ceremony is renowned for spotlighting talents and milestones in the Integrated Marketing Communication industry.
For his fervent contribution to marketing practice and exemplary leadership across various sectors, the marketing director of FrieslandCampina WAMCO, Chris Wulff-Caesar was honoured with the ‘Marketing Personality of the Year’ award. The recognition came barely a fortnight after he was named in the league of jurors for the 2019 Cristal Award held in Marrakech, Morocco.
Receiving the award, Wulff-Caesar explained that the recognition for the brands, Peak and Three Crowns, perfectly demonstrates their leading position in the market and how they continue to enjoy great acceptance among Nigerian consumers.
In another category where creative agencies, brands and other related practitioners showcased their achievements through entries, Peak Milk’s ‘Let Them Reach Their Peak’ advertorial emerged winner of the ‘Outstanding Print Advert of The Year’. The independent entry by agencies, according to the chief convener, John Ajayi, was intended to encourage more agencies to showcase their creativity.
Guided by an inspiring mission, ‘Nourishing Nigerians with quality dairy nutrition’, FrieslandCampina WAMCO, makers of Peak and Three Crowns, are unwavering in the provision of quality, nutritious milk products. The dairy leader has been a necessary part of most Nigerian homes since 1954 through Peak, its iconic brand.
