….approves #57million For Intervention Classes.
The Oyo state government, on Tuesday, approved that all workers unduly dismissed by the Ajimobi led government should be call back to service.
The decision was reached at the 10th executive council meeting of the Oyo state government where the executive arm concluded that all the court judgments on the cases of the dismissed workers would be honored except those caught with fake results.
Speaking through the state Commissioner for establishment and training, Barr. Olasunkanmi Olaleye, disclosed that the executive council has agreed to grant the dismissed workers amnesty.
Also speaking at the end of the exco meeting, the state Commissioner for Education, professor Daud Shangodoyin, revealed that the state government has approved a sum of #57million, 400thousand for the intervention classes for students in public schools.
He noted that the state government will on Monday 16th December, 2019 do a symbolic presentation of the compendium of questions and answers in WAEC in 10 subjects to the students in government own schools.
Shangodoyin, however, maintained that WAEC fees is not part of the state government’s free education policy but that of the responsibility of the parents.
