Stormzy, the British rapper, has enlisted several Nigerian music stars for ‘This Is What I Mean’, his forthcoming album.
The rapper unveiled artistes and producers billed to feature in the album via his Instagram page on Tuesday.
‘This Is What I Mean’ is scheduled to be released on November 25.
Nigerian artistes enlisted for the project include Ayra Starr, Teni, Oxlade as well as Tempoe, the music producer.
Ghana’s Black Sherif, Amarae, and Juls are also recruited for the much-awaited album.
Other artistes featuring in the project are India Arie, KZ, Ayanna, Nao, Debbie, Grades, Sampha and Knox Brown.
This is Stormzy’s third album.
The project, produced by Prgshn, comes after his 2019 album titled ‘Heavy Is The Head’, and ‘Gang Signs & Prayers’ released in 2017.
This further stretches the list of collaborations between Stormzy and Nigerian artistes.
In 2019, the rapper and Burna Boy teamed up for ‘Own It‘. He also collaborated with the ‘African Giant’ crooner for ‘Real Life’.
Since the release of his debut in 2017, Stormzy has established himself as a household name in the international music space.
He has won numerous awards for his works and collaborated with top music stars.
He has previously released two extended plays (EP) titled ‘Dreamers Disease’ (2014) and ‘For All We Know’ (2017).
