Osun rerun: Omisore to work with APC after meeting with Oshiomhole, Lai Mohammed, Lasun, Fayemi, Amosun, Ganduje

The candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in last Saturday’s governorship election in Osun State, Chief Iyiola Omisore, has agreed to work with the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Thursday’s rerun.

The deal was sealed after a meeting between Omisore and an APC Team led by the National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, in Osogbo early Wednesday.

Also present at the meeting are Information Minister, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Yusuf Lasun, Governors Ibikunle Amosun (Ogun), Abiola Ajimobi (Oyo), Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano), Badaru Abubakar (Jigawa) and Ekiti State Governor-Elect, Dr. Kayode Fayemi.
