The Head of Peace and Reconciliation Committee for Ileri-Oluwa Campaign Organisation in Osun State, Sooko Adeleke Adewoyin has called on the teeming supporters of All Progressives Congress, APC in the state to demonstrate their unflinching support to the governorship candidate of the party, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola.
Adewoyin, made this call during the Committee constituency visit to Ijesha and Ife zones areas of the state.
Adewoyin, and other members of the committee while addressing the leaders of the party, said the leaders support across the state to the victory of the party’s candidate in the governorship election come September 22nd cannot be over emphasised.
He emphasized that, the incumbent government in the state has done well towards the betterment off all and sundry which now call for the people’s support for continuation of the good things.
He said, “to consolidate on the achievements of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, we have to rally round Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola who is our governorship candidate by ensuring total victory in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state.
Let us remain one by coming together and forget the past for us to achieve our goal”.
Similarly, while speaking with Nigerian Pilot, shortly after the visit, a committed member of the Committee, the General Manager, Osun Road Maintenance Agency, ORMA, Engr Mathew Olowokere, said that the incumbent government has turn around the fortune of the state in the area of construction, rehabilitation and maintenance of roads which is now calling for the unalloyed support of the entire people of the state for the continuation of the good work.
Olowokere, who reiterated the incumbent government’s commitment to continue to rid all roads in the state of potholes in order to enhance vehicular movement assured that the emergence of the APC candidate in Osun as the next executive governor would continue to bring more infrastructural development by rehabilitate, construct, expand and open more roads across the state.
“People should support continuation of good work which would bring opening of more rural areas to buoyant economic development which will make things easier for farmers and marketers, as well as increase agricultural productivity in the State”, Olowokere assured.
