Ahead of September 22nd governorship election in Osun State, a Chieftain of All progressive Congress, APC in the State, Alhaji Sule Alao has emphasized that, the chance of his party is very bright as nothing would stop their victory.
Alao, who who made this known in a chat with newsmen in Ede on Sunday, said there was no opposition in the state.
The APC Chieftain noted that the achievement recorded by the party under the present administration was a testimony to the capacity of APC to provide true dividends of democracy to the citizenry.
He maintained that governor Rauf Aregbesola had positioned the party for continuity through its massive infrastructure development that had placed the state for industrialization.
Alao, hinted that APC was the only party that could sustain the tempo of socio economic growth being experienced in the state.
Speaking on the preparedness of his party, the APC Chieftain said the party had structures CPU in all wards and local government areas of the state.
He said opposition party could not constitute any threat to the party as the party could not speak with one voice, saying people of the state had witnessed unprecedented development under his party.
Alao however appealed to workers to bear with the state government as government was keen to their welfare and ready to pay their full salary arrears as soon as the allocation to the state improves.
The APC submitted that non payment of full salaries to workers was not a parameter to measure the performance of his party in the state since some oil producing states in the country under the control of PDP could not even afford modulated salaries.
He called on the people to continue to support the present administration in the state in its quest to reposition the state for economic turnaround.
