OODUA IMAGE AWARDS 2017 HOLDS IN HOUSTON

This year’s edition of Oodua Image Awards will hold in the city of Houston, United States of America on Friday, October 13, 2017 at Sienna Hall, 11916 Bissonnet Street, Houston. TX.77099

The event is being organized by Yoruba Youth Corporation, North America, and Raymond Sowemimo Foundation in collaboration with FirstOmega Entertainment.

Our 2016 edition was attended by notable and top dignitaries from Nigeria and United States, it was attended by HRM Oba Ganiyu Aderibigbe Asuno,Jemade I , the Paramount Ruler of Odo- Ayandelu Kingdom, Honorable Segun Olulade; Chairman of the House Committee on Health Services 7th Assembly, Lagos State, Attorney O.J Lawal, Chief Adeniyi Adekunle;the Apesin of IGBOGUN/IBOGUN LAND, Ifo Local Government of Ogun State,President of Egbaland in Houston; Engineer George Shofoluwe Artists from Nigeria includes ace actor/comedian Wale Akorede (Okunu), Tayo Odueke (Sindodo), Kemi Afolabi, Seyi Edun and others

Oodua Image Awards 2017 will attract dignitaries and delegates from Nigeria, United State, United Kingdom and other parts of the world. Many Yoruba Artistes like Yewande Adekoya (Omo Elemosho), Adeniyi Johnson, ,,Kabira Kafidipe( Araparegangan) and a U.S based comedian; Segun Pryme just to mention a few will be at this year’s event while the Ace Musician, juju & highlife maestro, Toyosi Ogundele (Da’jazzytee) with his band will be on band stand.

Some of the activities lined up at this year’s event include Fashion Show, Cultural Dance, Empowerment Seminar/ Lecture, Drum Session, Dinner /Awards Nite, Raffle Draw and many more. Gate fee is just $25. Oodua Image Awards 2017 will be host by Nollywood Actress; Queen Oluwa (Saratu) and Dj Cool
