Segun Akanni, Toronto, Canada Four PDP Lawmakers in the Ondo State House of Assembly have joined the all progressives Congress.
The defectors led by the new speaker of the assembly Hon Bamidele Oleyelogun cited the leadership crisis rocking the PDP at the national level and Ondo State as the reason for defecting.
Hon Oleyelogun said other lawmakers in the Jumoke Akindele group have indicated interest in joining the APC.
The speaker said their defection process would be concluded at the floor of the house tomorrow.
Secretary to the State government, Ifedayo Abegunde, received the lawmakers into the all progressives Congress.
The defectors are; speaker, Bamidele oleyelogun, deputy speaker, Iroju Ogundeji, Ayo arowele and Segun ajimotokin.
