The monarch announced the wedding ceremony in a recent post on his Instagram page.
Oluwo also shared photos of the wedding invitation while describing his wife-to-be as “a morally upright princess becoming a queen”.
“History made: Royalty weds royalty. A great wife, matrimonial material and morally upright princes becoming a queen,” he wrote.
“The glory is not only mine alone. It belongs to all of us who trust in our ways, an undiluted monarchy that resigns only to God, The creator.
“We reference God for everything. Alase lori orisa 1 Arole olodumare 1 Paramount ruler of Iwoland.”
The wedding is expected to hold on March 19, at the residence of Madakin Kano, Yola quarters in Kano state.
A reception “strictly for ladies” will follow at the palace of the Emir of Kano.
Oluwo’s spokesman, Alli Ibrahim, confirmed the ‘Royal Wedding’, adding that preparation towards the event was going well.
He, however, said because of his position as a paramount ruler, the Oluwo might not be in Kano for the wedding.
“Baba is not likely to be there (in Kano) as a paramount ruler. They will bring the wife to him in Iwo. There is no cause for alarm,” Ibrahim stated.
Oluwo was previously married to Chanel Chin, a Jamaican woman. The union, however, hit the rocks in 2019.
The monarch had earlier debunked a claim that he asked Gboyega Oyetola, governor of Osun state, for N20 million to finance his forthcoming wedding.
