Canadian-based political activist Olujimi Adekanle, popularly known as JAF, has congratulated the newly elected 18 local government chairpersons and all councillors on their well-deserved victories in Saturday’s election.
In a statement on Sunday, Adekanle, said the triumph is significant in many respects.
Adekanle also commends the leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for their successful performance in the elections, attributing it to the government’s achievements, the support of party members and stakeholders, and the party’s strong relationships with the state’s people.
“The outcome is a testament to the trust the people of Ondo State have in our party and Governor Aiyedatiwa’s visionary leadership, as well as a clear mandate to further implement and expand the Rural Transformation Agenda in Ondo State.
“As the tier of government closest to the people, I urge our newly elected council leaders to prioritize serving the interests of their constituents above all else.
“As representatives of the APC in the local level, you must embody the party’s core values of service, accountability, and development, and live up to the trust the people of Ondo have placed in us,” the statement said.
