Ogun state indigenes in Diaspora under the aegis of Ogun State Diasporans are trooping in to the country to drum support for Prince Dapo Abiodun second term bid.
The group under the name of Ogun State Diasporans are planning a mega 4 + 4 rally by mid January 2023 to officially endorse the duo of His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR and Her Excellency Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele for a second term. They also plan to launch a campaign song composed and produced by Prince Ajani a Sweden based Artist and music producer in support of Prince Dapo Abiodun second term bid.
Their members have started trooping into the country from allover the world. Majority of them are from Europe and America.
The coordinator of the group Engineer Oluyemi Ogundele confirmed this and mentioned that there is no alternative to Prince Dapo Abiodun who has turned the Gateway State to the envy of all others.
He further highlighted some of the achievements of the governor. This includes the massive infrastructural development the state is enjoying currently, several roads constructions which includes:
Reconstruction of Ijebu-Epe Expressway
Reconstruction of Atan-Lusada-Agbara Road
Reconstruction of Sagamu-Abeokuta Road
Reconstruction of Ilaro-Owode Road
Construction of Agro-Cargo Airport, Iperu-Ilishan.
Other success stories includes, high level of youth’s empowerment projects, increase in numbers of foreign investors in the state and many others.
One of the chieftain of the group Chief Daniel Dada (Maiyegun) from Republic of Ireland said no stone should be left unturned to ensure the victory of Governor Dapo Abiodun and the highest ranking Senator from Ogun State Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi) at the polls.
The Ogun state Diasporans is a group which has been active for many years and they also enjoy the support of the Diaspora Amazon and CEO of NIDCOM Dr Abike Dabiri Erewa. They are also solidly behind the candidature of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next president of Nigeria. One of their chieftain the Ogun State Diasporans who is also on ground and actively working for the Bola Ahmed Tinubu project is Mr Abiodun Oyebola who is the current President of NIDO Sierra Leone, he also double as the coordinator of “GRANDE DIASPORAL SUPPORT FOR BAT” a group who is in the forefront of flying BAT’s flag in the Diaspora.
