Having been in the music industry for over 15years, Olatunji Sunday Timothy a Nigerian, based in Texas in faraway America has dropped a new single titled Ogo tuntun that is making a big wave across America.
Ogo Tuntun as he is fondly called, he’s a son of a Pastor, whose talent in music began very early in life. His vast and prolific performance in Juju music has really endeared him to so many music lovers in America, UK and also in Nigeria, where he started his musical career before his sojourn overseas.
He said, I started music in church, then I was very young and in no time, the talent embedded in me coupled with great passion I have in music made me grew rapidly this has been my secret and God has been wonderful, now in America, its Omo Ologo, even in Nigeria, my fans base have grown rapidly”
In his sojourn, OMO OLOGO is making waves in America as he is well known in churches and other events happening in town.
According to him he said, “Juju highlife gospel is what I play; with these combinations, my music has become a toast in town. My dad is a pastor and right in his church, I started music as member of the choir.”
OGO TEXAS, a new name he bears now as his stardom soar high amongst socialite in America said; playing his music in America is very lovely because people around enjoy his lyrics and this has really paved way for him with so many opportunities making his sojourn in the State worth its salt.
Reacting to his maiden album, he said, “I believe in doing something great that will traverse the whole world; this I believe God will make it happen soon. Am working on it, and soon it will be out for people’s enjoyment.”
In response to who he sees as a role model amongst juju maestros, OGO TEXAS has described King Sunny Ade as a great musician whose music will live forever and remain a source of inspiration to many generation to come. He said, “The great living Legend inspires me a lot and i adore the great talent God has blessed him with.”
Taking up music professionally, he said, “I came to Lagos in year 2001; since then I have been in music.
What makes my kind of music different is; I sing gospel in any style and this has made people gave me different names, some call me Omo ologo tuntun and others call me OGO TEXAS.” He said.
