Laila Charani, the Moroccan wife of Ned Nwoko, the Nigerian businessman, has apologised to him — nearly a year after saying she has divorced him.
Charani was married to Nwoko for 10 years. The union has been blessed with three children.
In November last year, the Morrocan declared they are divorced.
“I just want to say no one has the right to talk about my marriage. Please stop talking about people’s lives. I have divorced already and nothing between me and him,” she had said.
“Anybody following me because of him can unfollow please. Thanks. I’ll block any negative comment.”
But in dramatic twist on Saturday, the mother of three referred to the politician as “my husband”.
Charani said she has realised her mistake, adding that “I listened too much to outsiders”.
“The Moroccan also apologised to other members of the Nwoko’s family, saying “I want peace and progress”.
“This is to my entire Ned Nwoko family. I have realised that I made mistakes. They were not intentional,” she wrote on Instagram.
“I listened too much to outsiders and I have decided to apologise to my husband and other members of the family. I want peace and progress in the family.”
Nwoko had revealed that the marriage crashed due to irreconcilable differences which started when Laila went on holiday in London.
