Nancy Isime, the actress, has bagged an honorary doctorate degree in arts and philosophy from Prowess University in Delaware, USA.
In a recent series of Instagram posts, Isime expressed gratitude to her fans for their congratulatory messages and unwavering support.
The TV personality also dedicated her achievement to her mother who passed away 27 years ago while acknowledging her as “my guardian angel.”
“Dr. Isime will see you now thank you for all your congratulatory messages fam. I’m beyond blessed to have you in my corner, cheering me on God bless you,” one of the posts reads.
“Dedicating this win to my Mummy, who on the 28th of April had marked 27 years since she left us.
“I miss you every day Mummy, keep watching over me, my guardian Angel. I Love you”
In 2011, she made her acting debut in the TV series ‘Echoes’
She has since appeared in several Nollywood movies including ‘Kambili: The Whole 30 Yards’, ‘The Set Up 2’ and ‘Shanty Town’.
Isime has also had a dynamic career as a presenter in Nigeria.
In 2016, she replaced Toke Makinwa as the presenter of Trending on HipTV.
She has also received several awards and recognition.
