Olumo Festival 2017: Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Student emerges 4th Miss Olumo.
It was a night of fun and glamour as Miss Bello Wonuola, a marketing student of Moshood Abiola Polytechnics,Abeokuta became the winner of 2017 edition of Miss Olumo Beauty Pageant.
The event which was organised by the Olokun Festival Foundation, held at the historic Ake Centenary Hall in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
Wonuola who slugged it out with eight other contestants in a competition which lasted for about three hours with over one thousand participants.
Otunba Gani Adams, the Chief Promoter of Olokun Festival Foundation, organizers of the annual Olumo Festival, while advising the winner, he urged her to be good ambassador of Olokun Festival Foundation and Yoruba nation, also to always promote and protect the rich ethical values associated with the race.
He encouraged other participants not to lose faith rather move ahead to improve on their lapses to be winners in other pageants that are still lined up for the year.
In attendance are two representatives of HRM Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, The Alake of Egba Land,Chief Kehinde Sofela, Bantu of Egba Land and Chief Olawale Oguntoyinbo, Baale of Abule-Ake. Others are Chief Femi Davies, Consultant to OPC and OPU on media, Prince Femi Odulaja,CEO, Bobbies Hotel, Ikorodu, Prince Ayinde Saka, fomer FUMAN President, National Coordinating Council of OPC, members of OPU among others.
