A man, Olajide Rasheed Idowu has raised alarm over the threat to his life and his household for his refusal to give out his 16-year-old daughter, Olajide Oluwanifemi in marriage to one Chief Williams Adeyeye who lives in the neighborhood.
Olajide, narrating his ordeal while speaking with our correspondent over the recent attack on his residence, which he said they had since abandoned all in a bid to get their lives and that of his child secured.
According to him, as at the time of speaking to the our correspondent, he doesn’t know the whereabouts of his wife, Olajide Silifat Adebukola and his other daughter, Olajide Jennifer Niniola, who are seriously in danger as their whereabouts is not yet known.
While speaking further on the incident, he described the accused man with different bad acts. He is a paedophile and well known for forcefully marrying underage girls and then turning them into slaves, maltreating them after the marriage.

“The man loves marrying little children so he came to me that he wanted to marry my 16-year-old daughter which I refused blatantly because the girl is too young for that and I can’t expose her to such treatment. The man is known for a lot of atrocities in the neighborhood”
“It was recently when I got back from my journey that I realized that this man had gone to my house and sent his gang to vandalize my house . It was the neighbours that hinted me about this and I was able to go to my daughter’s school and escape with her”
Olajide Explained Further That:
“Ever since that time, he has been chasing and trailing me, right now I don’t know the whereabouts of my wife and the girl’s younger sister. The man said he will kill me and he will forcefully marry my daughter….I have changed location ever since but I have always been traced everywhere. I’ve been running away for my life ever since. I don’t want my daughter to marry him”
Olajide, therefore called on the Government, the Nigeria Police Force as well as the concerned stakeholders to come to his aide and that of his family, so that he will not be killed for refusal to give out his daughter in marriage.
