Olori Badirat Ajoke, wife of the Alaafin, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, has reacted to the rumours of an extra-marital affair with Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, K1 De Ultimate.
In a phone conversation, Badirat Ajoke emphatically denied the story.
And she swore by all the Yoruba gods and the orishas of the Alaafin’s palace.
She asked the gods to punish her if she ever had any affair with Wasiu.
She said the rumour mongers, which include Instablog and Chirp Television, had published all manners of falsehood about her in the past.
Badirat Ajoke spoke with a U.S. based Nigerian, Aare Almaroof Bobagunwa Yekini.
I didn’t even know about her until someone called my attention to the video she (Esabod) made accusing me of infidelity and I saw so many blogs that had carried the false story.”
Claiming innocence of all accusations, Queen Ajoke, however, lay curses on herself should the rumours going viral be true about her and the respected artiste and Maiyegun of Yorubaland.
“May all the gods of Alaafin deal with me if I ever had sex or any untoward relationship with K1.
“I beseech the spirits of dead kings and queens to deal badly with me should the rumour be true but if the accusation aren’t true, may all the curses be that of Esabod and her offspring,” she cursed.
Meanwhile, one of K1’s sons, Femi has threatened Chirp Television, one of the sources of the rumour with libel
