The Executive Secretary, Lagos State
Security Trust Fund, Dr Abdurrazaq Balogun, who stated this at a press
briefing in Alausa, Ikeja, added that the summit had been scheduled for
April 9 on Victoria Island.
He stated further that topics, including
terrorism, transnational crimes, intelligence and community policing,
would be examined at the summit.

“The idea of the summit followed a

‘Securing Lagos State: Towards a Sustainable Framework for a Modern
Mega City,’ would provide a platform to share knowledge and make

In his speech, the Special Adviser to
the Governor on Oversees Affairs and Investment, Prof. Ademola Abass,
said the traffic summit held by the present administration at inception
helped in developing solutions to traffic challenges in the state,
adding that the security summit would come with sustainable solutions to
