Kizz Daniel, the Nigerian singer, has put out a new album titled ‘Maverick’.
The singer announced the release of the project in the early hours of Friday.
The album features artistes like Pryme, Tekno, Jalil, Jelani, Johnny Drille, Blaqbonez, Chike, Yemi Alade, Young Jonn, DJ Big N, Jahmiel, ‘mNomcebo Zikode, Not3s and Becky G.
The 20-track album consists of songs like ‘Red & Green’, ‘My G’, ‘Flex’, ‘Show You Off’, ‘Feran You Two’, ‘Feran Mi’, ‘Complicated’, ‘E’better’, ‘Blood is Thicker’, and ‘One Dollar’.
Other tracks in the body of work are ‘Easy To Love’, ‘Pour’, ‘Never’, ‘Anchovy’, ‘Side Chick’.
The singer had previously released ‘Cough (ODO)’, ‘Shu-Peru’, ‘Buga (Lo Lo Lo), ‘RTID(Rich Till I Die), and ‘Cough’ ft. Becky G — all from the album.
Daniel rose to prominence in 2015 with the release of his single titled ‘Woju’.
He signed a record deal with G-Worldwide Entertainment in 2013 but left the label following a contract dispute and court case.
He later established Flyboy Inc, his own record label, in November 2017, but recently stepped down as the CEO.
He signed Emperor Geezy, his ex-label boss, as Flyboy Inc’s head honcho.
He has also received several awards and recognition for his craft.
‘Maverick’ comes as Daniel’s fifth album. He dropped four other albums namely ‘New Era’ (2016), ‘No Bad Songz’ (2018), ‘King of Love’ (2020), and ‘Barnabas’ (2021).
