The people of Southern Kaduna are institutionally treated like the blacks under apartheid South Africa.
Former Kaduna State federal lawmaker and social activist, Senator Shehu Sani, has lamented the rising cases of killings in the Southern part of his state.
Speaking on the persisting terrorists activities in the region, Senator Sani who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the 8th Assembly described the killings in the Southern Kaduna by a terrorists’ group as systemic.
According to him, even though it is clear that no part of Kaduna State is spared from the violent killings and kidnappings in the state, the people of Southern Kaduna are institutionally treated like the blacks under apartheid South Africa.
“No part of Kaduna is spared of terrorists’ attacks, violence and kidnappings. However, the killings in Southern Kaduna by terrorists group is systemic; the people of that part of the state are also institutionally treated like the blacks under apartheid South Africa,” Senator Sani said on Tuesday.
There has been bloodletting in Southern Kaduna as terrorists seemed to have designated that part of the state for persistent and constant attacks.
On Monday, it was reported that terrorists in separated attacks on Sunday night reportedly killed over 28 people in Malagum 1 and Sokwong communities of Kagoro Chiefdom in Kaura Local Government Area of the state.
The attacks came barely five days after an attack was launched in Malagum 1 where at least three persons were killed.
