Iran has announced that it carried out a new wave of attacks targeting the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Israel following earlier US-Israeli strikes on its major steel facilities.
According to a statement from Iran’s central military command, Khatam al-Anbiya, the attacks were launched by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in retaliation for strikes on the country’s two largest steel plants.
The statement indicated that targets included American-linked industrial facilities in the region, such as steel operations in Abu Dhabi and aluminium industries in Bahrain, as well as the Rafael arms factories in Israel.
Iranian media also reported that data centres belonging to major US companies were targeted. These include facilities associated with Oracle Corporation in Dubai and Amazon in Bahrain.
The escalation marks a significant expansion of the conflict, increasing tensions across the Middle East and raising concerns about wider regional instability.
