….deregisters 74 Political Parties
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has fixed September 19 for the Edo governorship election and October 10 for that of Ondo.
Mahmood Yakubu, INEC chairman, disclosed this on Thursday during a press briefing in Abuja.
Both states are under the control of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the governors are seeking another term.
