Ikorodu North OPC Celebrates Otunba Gani Adams at 47 + Photos, Grand Finale holds April 30th
Segun Akanni, Toronto, Canada The Ikorodu North OPC celebrated the 47th years birthday of Otunba Gani Adams yesterday Friday April 28th at Sherriffyt Royal Hotel and Suite, Ikorodu, Lagos.
Alhaji Dauda Asikolaye, the Director of Mobilizations of Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) who also doubles as Ikorodu North Coordinator of OPC and his members organised the birthday as a way of appreciating the efforts and commitment of Otunba Gani Adams for his unflinching determination for the emancipation of Yoruba race. Asikolaye further stated that a leader of his type is very rare, according to him “he thought us how to live fruitful and pleasurable lives. He deserves to be celebrated annually”Dauda,urge other structures of OPC to emulate such gestures, so as enable our leader to be encouraged.
The personalities in attendance are: HRM Oba Taiwo Bamgbose Olu of Imushin and his wife, Ikorodu council of Baales and Chiefs, Otunba Kamorudeen Lamina Sir K, Akinrogun Victor Adewale, Europe OPU Coordinator, members of National Coordinating Council of OPC, Yeye Subolade Adelaja, Iyalaje promotions in New York, OASIS Women Organisation led by Erelu Mojisola Adams, members of ANTP and TAMPAN, Chief Adegboyega Adeleke Big Boss and many others.Sir Shina Akanni and his Fuji Scorpido band entertained the guests.
Meanwhile, the Grand finale of the birthday holds on Sunday April 30th at BATTEN HOUSE EVENT CENTER, Plot A2, Block G, MKO Abiola road, beside Adonai Court, off CIPM Avenue, Alausa, Ikeja from 12noon.
