Leicester City forward, Kelechi Iheanacho, scored his third goal of the season in his fourth league appearance for the team in their 2-1 win at West Ham United on Saturday playing the entire duration of the game.
Iheanacho gave the visitors the lifeline to go ahead in the ninth minute of the game after being brought down by goalkeeper Lukas Fabianski inside the box but Demarai Gray failed to convert.
The Nigerian international took his opportunity in the 40th minute heading the ball into the net with Ayoze Perez providing the assist.
Iheanacho was voted Man of the Match in the encounter by fans of the club on Twitter with the former Manchester City man winning 38.4 per cent of the votes beating Gray and Hamza Choudhury to the accolade.
The 23-year-old was used in place of in-form striker Jamie Vardy who had to be with his wife Rebekah, who was giving birth to their fifth child.
Manager, Brendan Rodgers, made nine changes in all from the Liverpool defeat. and praised the squad after the hard fought win.

“I have total trust in all my squad and to play how we wanted to play, we needed that energy and attitude, and for that I felt the changes were important. I’m so pleased for them.”he said .
Iheanacho has been directly involved in five goals in his last four Premier League appearances for Leicester (three goals, two assists), as many as his previous 31 games for the club.
With the win, Leicester are 10 points behind log leaders Liverpool and four points ahead of third-placed Manchester City.
