The Omega Fire Ministries (OFM) worldwide on Sunday 5th of February, marked its 19th year of existence. This ministry of God, it is on record, has so far contributed to restoring lives and strengthening the faith of many among other spiritual interventions in people’s lives.
Meanwhile, the celebrations this year did not go unnoticed, albeit on a low-key scale. The spiritual leader of OFM, Apostle Johnson Suleman believes celebrating milestones are important, so, once more he celebrated in his usual ways by impacting on the less privileged in the society.
With his dutiful wife, Reverend (Mrs.) Lizzy Johnson Suleman, the God’s servant did not just break and share a giant cake with their congregation, their personal charity foundation, ‘Touch of Love’, was also deployed to cater for hundreds of poor people, the aged, widows, indigent students and vulnerable children. It is important to note that the Foundation has been used to continuously advance the well-being of people across Nigeria and even overseas irrespective of their faiths.OFM sources said that Apostle Suleman marked the ministry’s 19th anniversary with humanitarian activities done low-key. These include donating to healthcare thus offering convenience to poor patients; empowering people with cash for business support and donating to various social welfare projects. Apostle Suleman said that charity services are what the church should be known for as a legacy aside from preaching the Word, fighting spiritual warfare and deliverance.
On her part, Mrs. Suleman, in her truly remarkable qualities as a pastor’s wife, has continued with the charity activities days after the celebration. She has been in town with her team to share essential items like bags, medications, food items and more. Giving is a huge blessing that gives us strength to carry on, Mrs. Suleman asserts during the outing.
