Nigeria’s foremost amusement resort, Hi Impact Planet Amusement Park and Resort, located in Ibafo, Ogun State, has announced a 12-day entertainment package for visitors and guests during the Yuletide.
This was disclosed at an interactive parley with newsmen at the Ibafo office of the outfit by the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hi Impact Planet, Prince Adeyanju Lipede.
Lipede said from December 22, 2017 when guests will be be treated to a superlative Karaoke night, until January 6, 2018, visitors to the Park are assured of a Christmas season that will be remembered for a long time.
He said: “From what we have lined up for the Yuletide season, anybody desirous of a Christmas season that will linger for long will have no reason not to be at the Park.”
While announcing the reason behind the “African Night”, which holds on December 23, Lipede said his firm’s belief in Nigeria and by extension Africa necessitated the idea of celebrating the rich African culture through music, dance, food and drinks.
He explained that even the mascot of the amusement park is a combination of African culture.
On the annual Praise Blast, the second edition of which comes up on December 26 at the 20,000 capacity Park Arena, Prince Lipede listed the array of A List gospel artistes billed to entertain that night to include Tope Alabi, Senwele Jesu, Chioma Jesus, Tim Godfrey, Bukola Bekes, Vashawn Mitchell, Bola Are, Lagos City Chorale and Daystar Christian Centre Choir.
To round up the year is a musical concert, tagged: “Shut down 2017.”
Lipede said: “Nigeria’s foremost artistes like 2face, Flavour, Vector, Adekunle Gold and Kiss Daniel have been listed to perform on one of the biggest stages around.”
He said to make the night more memorable, 30 minutes have been dedicated within every hour to continuous fireworks as “our own way of celebrating the season with our teeming customers who have been faithful with us over the years”.
On how much it takes to enjoy these activities, the Chairman explained that all are free except the musical concert: “Shut down 2017,” which requires only a visit to the Park between December 1 and 29, 2017.
Assuring that adequate security measures have been put in place for visitors to all the activities, the Chairman also noted that free transportation to Ojota, Berger and Mowe have been arranged for visitors to the Praise Blast concert.
Other activities lined up for the 12 days of Magic include Festival of Lights on December 31, where guests will be treated to a display of synchronized laser lights and music, new year carnival on January 1 and magical memories that will last a long time on January 6, 2018.
