Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State has appointed a renowned journalist and Lecturer, Princes Jùmọ̀kẹ́ Owóọla as Commissioner II to the state’s Teaching Services Commission.
Princes Jùmọ̀kẹ́ is among list of new appointees cleared by the Èkìtì State House of Assembly having earlier received their nomination from the Governor.
Untill her appointment, Princes Jùmọ̀kẹ́ Owóọla possesses two Masters’ Degrees in Peace and Conflict Studies and Indigenous Knowledge and Development, IKAD from University of Ibadan.
Jùmọ̀kẹ́ was a veteran journalist, Lecturer at Lagos State Polytechnic, Culture Aristocrat; Indigenous Knowledge & Development Expert, Social Entrepreneur, Mentor, Reproductive Health Activist, Politician, Poet, Technocrat, Translator, Author, Ethno-Scientist, Investigator, Reseacher, Consultant, Mother, and Community Advocate.
She is the mother of the renowned Child Health advocate and founder of Live Alive Foundation, Goldmark Owóọla – Adeojo.
