National Coordinator of Oodua People’s Congress (OPC ), Otunba Gani Adams has stressed the need for members of the group who have no proper education to return to school to acquire more knowledge
Otunba Adams while addressing members at the Leadership training organized for zonal leader of OPC in Ibadan said education will further boost their knowledge and give them edge above those who do not have
“ As a member of this prestigious organization, it is important for you to educated so that you will be able to think differently and make meaningful contributions to the development of our society”
‘OPC is more than what politicians will be using for political thugs and ballot snatching, we are responsible members of the society who can also lead the society at any level and that is why we must all be equipped”
“ At times many people refer to OPC as group of illiterate because they don’t really know that we have professionals and educated people among us , we are already proving them wrong because when it comes to intellectual discussion they cannot beat us and that is why I am enjoining you all to have education and be prepared”
Otunba Gani Adams also harps on the need for restructuring in Nigeria ” The present admnistration should not hesitate to restructure Nigeria, we need full implentation of 2014 CONFAB and true federalism is the only solution to Nigeria Problems. Nigeria should be restructured.
While urging OPC leaders to be more committed , the chief promoter of Olokun Festival Foundation said “ every member of this association must be dedicated and show commitment to the association , OPC is the only association that is defending the integrity of Yoruba race and we must be ready stand up to the game
Other key note speaker at the training including, Professor Peters Agbondeyi, Chief Femi Davies, Bar. Tanimowo Babajide, Comrade Rotimi Olumo, Alhaji Lateef Oladimaji, Prince Segun Akanni and Alhaji Dauda Asikolaye.
