In the statement, the President of NANS,
Chinonso Obasi, urged the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and
Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, to urgently
resolve the problem of fuel scarcity and assure Nigerians that their
days of worries over petroleum prices will soon be over.

Obasi noted that just before the New
Year, Nigerians were faced with another hardship, imposed by yet-to-be
identified business expropriators.

He recalled that Nigerians, during the

transport costs moving for both Christmas and New year celebrations.

While condemning the hardship imposed on
Nigerians, the NANS called on the Department of Petroleum Products and
the Petroleum Pump Price Regulatory Agency to swiftly halt the
exploitation of the masses.
