He said, “As far as I am concerned, what
Ekiti needs at this critical stage of its domestic economy are
technocrats like us, who will come together and develop the latent
natural and human resources aimed at transforming Ekiti into an
industrial hub.
“I am particularly repulsed that we
still depend on the monthly statutory allocations from the federation
account, to keep the state going. If I’m elected governor, this trend
will change, going by my antecedent as an industrialist and
entrepreneur.”

He commended the leadership of the APC in the state for creating a level playing field for all the governorship aspirants.
